1. Open https://instagram.com in the browser on your PC and make sure you are logged into your Instagram account.
2. Select Profile in the bottom left.
3. Once on your Instagram profile page, select the gear next Edit Profile to bring up the settings menu.
4. In the settings menu, select Settings and Privacy.
5. Select See more in Accounts Center.
6. Choose Personal Details in the left menu, then select Account ownership and control.
7. Select Deactivation or Deletion.
8. Choose the Instagram account you want to deactivate.
9. Make sure Deactivate account is selected then select Continue.
