In Chapter 5 of Black Myth: Wukong, you'll face the Pale-Axe Stalwart in the Woods of Ember at Ashen Pass I. This boss wields a massive axe and can deal heavy damage with his swings and charge attacks. To defeat him, timing and agility are key.
As the battle begins, watch for his tells—when he raises his axe or prepares to charge, be ready to dodge to the side. His attacks are powerful but slow, giving you openings to counterattack. Use your staff combos to deal consistent damage and build up your gauge. Spells like Cloud Step enhance your mobility, allowing you to evade his strikes more effectively. Immobilize can temporarily halt his movements, giving you a crucial window to unleash your attacks.
When his health drops to around 60-70%, the fight will pause, and the Pale-Axe Stalwart will initiate a conversation. Before engaging in dialogue, make sure to eliminate any nearby enemies to prevent interruptions. Also, don't forget to open the chests beside him to claim valuable rewards.
