How To Beat Yaksha King Without Dodging or Parrying | No Skill Build Guide: Black Myth: Wukong

Alright, let’s get started. If you're anything like me, dodging and parrying might not be your strong suit. No worries, because in this video, I’ll show you how I beat the Yaksha King with minimal dodging and zero fancy parries. This is a no-skill-required build that worked wonders for me, and I’m sure it’ll help you too.
So, right after defeating Red Boy, the Yaksha King comes into play, and honestly, he's one of the tougher bosses in the game, with his scythe-like blades and long-range attacks. But we’re not going to let that scare us, because with the right approach, this fight becomes much more manageable.
Here’s the core of the strategy: focus on your spells and mana regeneration. You’ll want to use the Jade Essence Gourd and Turtle Tears Curio, which keeps your mana flowing even after you've used your key spells. Start with the basics — charge up your focus points early on, and hit Yaksha King with a fully charged attack right out of the gate. This gets you an upper hand at the start of the fight.
Next, the most important spell to use is Pluck of Many, especially if you’ve got it fully upgraded. It’s going to be your primary damage dealer throughout this fight. You can cast it twice in a row if you manage your mana properly, and it’ll shred through Yaksha King’s health.
Immobilize is also a great spell to keep handy in your setup. Once you’ve locked him down, immediately follow up with Pluck of Many, and you’ll see those clones dealing solid damage. Don't worry about missing too much — just make sure you get a charged hit in whenever you can.
Now, when Yaksha King starts pulling out his bigger moves or trying to overwhelm you, that’s your cue to use Cloud Step. It’s fully upgraded in this build, so the cooldown is really short, and it’ll help you evade his nastier attacks and heal up while building focus points for another charge attack.
The trick here is to not try to be fancy with dodging. Every time you feel like things are heating up, just Cloud Step, heal, and prepare for your next charge attack. You can repeat this process over and over, and the fight will eventually fall into a rhythm. After a few focus-charged hits and well-timed Pluck of Many casts, Yaksha King should be on his last legs.
If you’re really feeling adventurous, there’s a secret cutscene that can trigger if you let his health drop to 10% without finishing him off immediately. I tried to trigger this myself but ended up beating him too fast. So, if you manage to pull that off, let me know how it goes in the comments.
Speaking of finishing him off, once you get him down to low health, you’ll want to switch to the Ebon Flow transformation. By this point in the fight, you’ll have worn him down, and the transformation will allow you to end things quickly. After Ebon Flow finishes, just hit him with one more charged attack to seal the deal.
This whole strategy doesn’t require any crazy dodging or parry skills — it’s all about maximizing your spells and healing at the right times. No stress, no fancy moves, just straightforward damage dealing.
So, if you’re like me and lack those precise dodge and parry skills, this build will help you breeze through the Yaksha King fight. Just focus on your spells, charge attacks, and healing, and you’ll be good to go.
