Temp files are basically just temporary files that Windows and software have created on your computer for all sorts of reasons. So by clearing the Windows temp folder and user account temp folder you can quickly free up space on your PC.

It might be worth checking the temp files before deleting them just in case there is a temp file you don't want to remove.
