How to drag scrollbars elevators on TI-Nspire CX & TouchPad

Dragging graphic or geometry objects on the TI-Nspire CX is quite intuitive. But scrollbars elevators are something else. You have to :
1) Hold the [ctrl] key.
2) Click and hold the elevator.
3) The pointer changes to a hand and starts blinking. Wait for it to disappear (around 6secs).
4) Completely release the touchpad.
5) Release the [ctrl] key.
6) Now drag the elevator using the touchpad.
