In this piece, the artist explores the futility of struggle against his own creative process, and that of his teammates. By showing himself, in a self-portrait as it were, floating in an empty void/grid of his own making, the artist seems to be saying "Enough is enough. I drew a pair of overalls, what don't you get?" The audience of the piece takes on the role of the artist's teammates, bearing the brunt of his aggression, frustration, and ineptitude.

Ultimately history will decide if the artist created overalls or if, as his teammates say, his 12 years of training, $165,000 in grad school debt, and eternal disappointment of his family who agree that he "should have gone to law school" only resulted in creating "a Jesus wombat taking a shit?"
