I prioritize Aerith to gain ATB quickly and made her a support character (for healing & providing buffs such as Faith for Yuffie). Cloud was sort of had an all around build, he wasn't as an essential character for me, but I just preferred having him there. The most important accessory for this is the safety bit since you won't get insta-death and petrified by enemies in these rounds.
