Admob doesn't have any special option to disable the ads or to enable it for later uses. For some reason, they are not given that option in the AdMob dashboard. but hey it's not completely hopeless yet. We can still disable the ads without removing the Adunits.
You see many people might already have installed your app on their mobile. If you remove the ad unit from your AdMob dashboard, The people who already have installed your apps in their mobiles can't see your ads. This means you will lose your revenue for sure.
