Fix FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH Error DX12 Is Not Supported On Your System Try Running Without The -dx12 or -d3d12 command line argument
Step 1) Make sure graphics card is supported to play the game/supports DX12
Step 2) For many Nvidia 16th series card users putting d3d12.dll file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH\End\Binaries\Win64 (Does not work with all cards, remove the d3d12.dll file if it does not work, do it at your own risk)
Step 3) Try -d3d11 (If you receive fatal error then remove it)
Step 4) Perform a clean installation of graphics driver. You can even use Nvidia App/GeForce Experience to update driver

Step 5) Run the game on dedicated graphics card, desktop users connect the display/HDMI cable to dedicated graphics card not to the motherboard slot which has inbuilt graphics like intel
Step 6) Update Windows to the latest version
Step 7) Move/Install the game to a faster SSD
Step 8) Make enough space on your SSD
Step 9) Run Steam as an administrator
Step 10) Close MSI Afterburner, rivatuner, close all the overclocking applications
Step 11) Rename/delete the save game files (You will lose all the game progress)
Step 12) AMD Users install optional driver 25.1.1
Step 13) AMD Users try reverting to 24.7.1 or 24.8.1
Step 14) Verify the game files.
Step 15) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder, try running the game in compatibility mode.
Step 16) Allow the game exe file to your antivirus program/Windows Security and Firewall
Step 17) Disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors, turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, close third-party services such as nahimic services/lightingservice.exe etc. in task manager, disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), remove the undervolt
Step 18) Increase the Virtual Memory
View Advanced system settings.
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 19) Update BIOS
Step 20) Uninstall the game, go to the game installation folder and delete the game folder, restart your PC, and reinstall the game to C Drive/if already installed to C drive, then install the game to another SSD
