The LED lights on a TP-Link router indicate its status and functionality. Here's what different blinking patterns typically mean for TP-Link routers:
1. Power LED
Solid Light: Router is powered on and functioning normally.
Blinking: Firmware update in progress or the router is starting up.
Off: Router is powered off or there’s a power issue.
2. Internet (Globe) LED
Solid Light: Successfully connected to the internet.
Blinking:
Active data transfer (normal behavior).
May also indicate a connection issue (intermittent connectivity).
Off: No internet connection.
3. Wi-Fi (Wireless) LED
Solid Light: Wireless network is active.
Blinking: Devices are transmitting data over the Wi-Fi network (normal).
Off: Wi-Fi is disabled.
4. LAN (Ethernet) LED
