How to Fix OVERWATCH 2: Fix Audio/Sound Not Working On PC
5Blizzard Entertainment has been known for its stunning video games for years, and Overwatch 2 is the latest hero shooter video game which becomes quite popular among multiplayer gamers. It’s a sequel to Overwatch that offers a fresh multiplayer experience in PvP and PvE modes.
As this game launched recently, many reported issues of the audio not working or sound cutting out. If you’re also one of the victims, then follow this troubleshooting guide to fix the Overwatch 2 audio not working or the crackling sound issue.
Fix: Overwatch 2 Audio Not Working or Crackling Sound Issue
Affected players reported on Reddit that while playing on the console, the headset turned on, but they barely heard anything else. It seems like everything gets muffled and mixed with lower volume. It ruins the gameplay experience and nothing else.
STEPS IN THIS VIDEO :
1-Restart the game
2-Check Volume Mixer
3-Select the right audio device in Sound Settings
4-Set Sound Sample rate to 48/44k Hz in sound control panel
5-If you are playing with a controller, disconnect it when you start the game, connect the controller once the sound is established.
6-Turn off Spatial Sound
7- Disable Oculus/voicemeeter Audio Device under both recording and playback in sound control panel, do the same thing in device manager
8- Disconnect external Microphone connected to the PC, you can also disable internal microphone in sound control panel
9-Install Audio Driver
