Are your Steam games missing sound? Can't hear anything when you open a game on Windows 10 or 11? In this video, I'll show you how to troubleshoot the Steam audio issue step by step, so you can play with sound again without any problems.

Step-by-Step Procedure:
1. Restart your PC and your speakers or headphones
• Sometimes a quick restart can resolve audio conflicts

2. Check the default output device
• Go to: Settings - System - Sound
• Make sure the correct device is selected (headphones, speakers, etc.)

3. Configure Steam to use the correct audio device
• Open Steam - Settings - Audio (if the game allows it)
• Make sure the game is using the same output device as Windows

4. Disable sound enhancements

• In: Control Panel - Sound - Device Properties - Enhancements
• Check "Disable all enhancements"

5. Disable Spatial Audio and 3D Sound
• Right-click the volume icon - Spatial Audio - Select Off

6. Update your sound drivers

• Go to: Device Manager - Audio inputs and outputs
• Right-click your sound card - Update driver

7. Run the Sound Troubleshooter
• Go to: Settings - System - Troubleshoot - Audio
