2017 UPDATE:
I'd recommend using OBS instead. I've switched years ago and haven't gone back to XSplit

The XSplit Helicopter Bug ends up ruining a ton of streams.
It's when your audio gets kind of choppy/clippy.
You can temporarily fix it by muting/unmuting your audio in XSplit.

To make sure it doesn't keep happening though, try one of these two fixes.
"useloopback" in the shortcut target or changing your system audio to 44.1kHz. --
