Q: wait, chain fishing exists in gen 7?
A: I thought so, I’m probably wrong though, no one is right 100% of the time, sorry!
Q: Can’t you just run and move to break a fish chain?
A: Actually you’d need to leave the area entirely, moving in the same area doesn’t break it. Also SRing is quicker iirc since you don’t need to go through the whole battle and run.
