In this video I show you how to get smoother framerate/fps during split screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. This should work on Xbox one, PS4, Xbox one x, and ps4 pro. All you need to do is go to your settings and lower the resolution from 4k to 1080p or 720p. If you are on original xbox or ps4 lower it to 720p. I was having crashing with the 4k setting on xbox one x and after I lowered it to 1080p the game was smoother and didn't crash.
I would also imagine that it would work on PS5, Xbox series S, and Xbox one X.
