Steps:
- Hiding a chat on your phone will not hide the chat on anyone else's phone.
- To hide chats, open up viber and then open the chat that you would like to hide.
- Then tap on the person's name at the top. This will open a menu for the chat.
- Scroll down the menu and tap on 'hide this chat'
- The first time you hide a chat you will have to set a pin for your hidden chats. The pin will be the same for all your hidden chats.
- Note that if you forget your pin you won't be able to get your hidden chats back, you can reset your pin, but your hidden chats will be deleted.
- Tap 'set pin.
- Enter your desired pin, and then re enter it to confirm it.
- Tap ok.
- Your chat is now hidden and has disappeared from your chats screen.
- To unhide a chat you first need to open it.
- To do this tap on the search icon in the top right corner of the homescreen.
- Then type your hidden chat pin into the search bar.
- Your hidden chats will appear.
- Open the chat that you would like to unhide.
- My phone won't let me record it as it's hidden.. but tap on the name of the person at the top left of the chat.
- Then from the menu that appears scroll down and tap 'unhide this chat'.
- Enter your hidden chats pin and your chat will then be unhidden and go back to your normal chats screen.
