Are you a beginner in youtube ?
This video can help you to increase your subscriber.
I have tried it personally in my channel Until I had my initial 500 subscribers.
In my opinion, If you are a beginner, you should hide your subscriber count for some reasons.
When a somebody thinks to subscribe to a particular channel, he or she would check the subscriber count and if they
saw 0 -10 subscriber then they may not want to subscribe your channel.
Even videos get viewed if you have good number of subscribers, this is a basic attitude of most of the YouTube users, even me
You should make it visible
when you reach say at least 500–1000 subscribers or you can decide the right numbers
