Hopefully this video will walk you through the process of refurbishing your cosmetically challenged Motorola HT750/1250 or 1550 (Ls models included) handheld radio.

I didn't have an HT 1250 in need of a refurb kit so we will imagine this one is being refurbed.

Be sure to get the kit that is for your model (An HT1550 kit WILL NOT turn your HT750 into an HT1250 in functionality and so on).

Also they have a few colors other than black or yellow so get the one you want for your model.
