How To Install an SSD, HDD, or Hybrid For PS4 (1TB SSD)
135This will be a video on me installing a Samsung EVO 1TB SSD. This video is also a guid on how to install a HDD, Hybrid, or SSD into your PS4; I hope this video was good enough for you guys.
PS4 Update File:
http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/ps4/new-install/
Items Needed For Install:
SSD or HDD over 160GB's, Flash Drive with at least 902MB's of free space, PS4 Dual Shock Controller, and USB charging cable it came with.
*Use any USB drive make sure the USB drive enclosure is thin, so it will fit the PS4 enclosure.
*Make sure you have at least 901MB's of free space on the drive
#1.)Download the PS4 Update 1.51 file
#2.)Format the USB Drive to MS-DOS (FAT32)
#3.)Make folder called: "PS4"
#4.)Make another folder called: "UPDATE" inside the PS4 folder
#5.)Drag PS4UPDATE file into UPDATE folder
#6.)Hold the power button for 7-9 seconds
#7.)Select initialize PS4 (Reinstall System Software)
#8.)Then follow the rest of the prompts on the screen
