This video covers installing and using Heroic Games Launcher, an open source alternative for playing games from Epic Games and GOG on Linux.

Step 1. Installing And Running Heroic

Once installed, launch and associate your Epic and GOG with Heroic.

You should now be presented with your game library, so to install a game, click on the artwork, click the Install button, optionally specifying an installation location.

The default is your Home directory, but either way, once the process is complete, launch the game.

Step 2. Using Different Version of Wine

Heroic will allow you to run a game using a different version of Wine such as Wine-GE. To do that, click on the Settings tab, and choose what compatibility tool you wish to use from the drop-down menu.

You can also specify launch options here as well.
