How to Install the Romeo Mod on a Fat PS2 (v9 & v10) - Save Your Laser!
After installing a Modbo 4.0 modchip in my v9 PS2 I read about later Fat revisions needing something called the "Romeo Mod" if fitted with a modchip. In short - It was discovered that playing lower quality burned discs on v9 and v10 PS2 consoles resulted in the lasers dying out extremely quick. In comes the Romeo Mod - with the help of a wire and some solder, this quick modification allows you to increase the longevity of your laser. I myself normally use high quality blank media, but I figured I would give this a shot and make a video over it.
