In This Windows 10 tutorial, I will be showing you how to host WordPress on your local PC (localhost), meaning you will be able to test themes, plugins, posts and all the other features WordPress has to offer!
WordPress allows you to create your very own website or blog but if you have never used WordPress before you might want to just experiment with it on your Windows 10 desktop before committing to a server for hosting. The great news is this can easily be done with a program called Xampp.
Just remember when hosting WordPress on your localhost you will be the only person that can access the website (no one else will be able to). You will need to purchase some webspace. You can transfer your local copy of WordPress to a web host using a plugin or doing it manually but just be warned this can be quite difficult and if you're not sure what you are doing I would recommend you just use your localhost WordPress as an experiment.
