In Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem, Nancy must investigate the break in of the evidence room at the courthouse. Once you have gained access to the room, step inside and click on the broken window to examine in. Be sure to click on the metal grate to the left as well. Turn around to face the main door and click on the camera mounted above the frame. Once Nancy comments that the break in was staged, you have completed the first part of the investigation.

The next part of your investigation is to compare the evidence list (found on the computer desk) with the evidence drawers to see which drawers are supposed to contain evidence but are actually empty.

Note: You can earn a trophy (meta) award for opening every single drawer.

Only three drawers need to be opened: No6, No11, and No18. Open a drawer, then click on your evidence list from your inventory and use it on the opened drawer to make the official comparison. If it is correct, Nancy will draw an X on the list next to that drawer number.

Next, remember to ask the Judge every question you can about the break in and the stolen evidence.
