To keep photos private in Google Photos, follow these steps:

1. *Open Google Photos:*
Launch the Google Photos app on your device or go to photos.google.com on your computer.

2. *Select the Photo:*
Locate the specific photo you want to keep private.
Tap on the photo to open it.

3. *Move the Photo to Archive or Locked Folder:*
You have two options:
*Option 1: Move to Archive:*
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner of the photo.
Select "Move to Archive."
This will move the photo to the Archive, keeping it out of your main photo feed but still accessible within the Archive folder.
*Option 2: Move to Locked Folder:*
Tap the three-dot menu icon and select "Move to Locked Folder."
If this is your first time setting up the Locked Folder, follow the on-screen prompts to enable it.
Set a PIN or use biometric authentication (like fingerprint or face ID) for added security.
After setup, return to the photo and move it to the Locked Folder.

4. *Accessing Archived or Locked Photos:*
*Archived Photos:* Go to the "Library" tab and scroll down to "Archive" to find your archived photos.
*Locked Photos:* Go to the "Library" tab, scroll to "Utilities," and select "Locked Folder." You will need to enter your PIN or use biometrics to access this folder.

This will keep your photos private and hidden from the main Google Photos feed. For enhanced privacy, the Locked Folder is the better option as it requires authentication to view the photos.
