Like a lot of cocktails, this is vegan.
This is just a continuance of a minor trend I've been doing of alcohol-free versions of many famous cocktails. While I haven't had a traditional margarita in god knows how long, so I can't exactly remember how they taste, I will say this drink is delicious. The saltiness and the sort of brininess go down a treat on warm days... its summer where I am.

An odd yet addicting flavour doesn't overstay its welcome, and the sort of savoury sweetness of the maple syrup is definitely the better way to go over simple syrup
