Step 1: What You Will Need
---------------------------------------------------------------------
There are several items that you will need to make a Christmas cracker. Before you begin, gather the following
supplies.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iafY2NTmtZg
* Wrapping paper
* Three cardboard rolls (empty toilet paper rolls or wrapping paper rolls cut into three identical size pieces)
* Ribbon
* Glue stick
* Scissors
* Double sided tape
* Colored tissue paper
* Small toys or treats
Step 2: Wrap the Cracker
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You will first need to construct the cracker. Roll out wrapping paper and line up the three rolls on the paper. Cut the paper so that you can cover all three adequately. If you want to be creative, you can use craft scissors to trim the edges and create a decorative pattern. Roll up the cardboard pieces in the paper and use double sided tape to secure it. Only place tape on the middle roll, as you will be removing both of the end rolls. Cut a piece of ribbon long enough to wrap around the roll and tie. Place this at the point where the rolls meet. Remove the end roll and tie the ribbon securely.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iafY2NTmtZg
Step 3: Fill and Finish the Cracker
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that you have one end that is left open, you can fill the cracker with any variety of candy or small toys that will fit inside one roll. Once you have filled the cracker, you can repeat the ribbon technique on the open end to remove the end roll and seal up the cracker. When you have finished you should have one roll tied on both ends and filled with treats. You can decorate the cracker with tissue paper wrapped around the center and topped with additional ribbon or a bow.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iafY2NTmtZg
