How To Make Funfetti Cake In The Microwave
7Microwave Cooking Recipe:
Funfetti Cake
1) Spray a microwaveable-safe, 13x9 container with non-stick cooking spray. Note: You can use a different size container if you do not have a 13x9 size container, though the cake batter may rise above the container threshold.
2) Mix the cake batter according to the box instructions. In this case, three (3) eggs, one (1) cup of vegetable oil (I used melted margarine), and one (1) cup of water was used.
3) Pour the cake batter into the microwaveable-safe container.
4) Place the microwaveable-safe container into the microwave. Set the timer for approximately 15 minutes. Note: Microwave cooking times will vary depending on the microwave wattage of your microwave.
5) Remove the cake when it is finished ‘baking.’
6) Wait five (5) minutes for the cake to cool to room temperature.
7) Frost the cake. Note: I melted the Funfetti frosting in the microwave (one (1) minute or so) for easy pouring of the frosting.
8) Slice the cake into squares.
9) Enjoy!
