How to make the best egg hamburger in the world: The One Eyed Jack

Backstory: When I was a kid I saw someone make a hamburger that had an egg cooked inside the patty. I kept trying to figure out how to make the darn thing and eventually learned that you had to cook the egg separate from the burger and then cook it inside the raw patty. That seemed like too much work to me, and probably results in a really raw burger, so I came up with this method by remembering how to make another dish I loved as a kid: Eggs in a basket.
I'm something of a cheeseburger aficionado, and poor quality burgers always frustrates me. A lot of people BBQ burgers but don't really know how to make a great burger. If you're not going to season it, then at least make a good topping. I usually season my patties with Season All but because the One Eyed Jack is cooked with an egg and still topped with a basic fry sauce, the normal version still makes a great burger.
The bagel for a bun is also key: because the egg can be pretty running, you really want to have something that can absorb the extra oil. A normal hamburger bun just won't cut it.
But seriously though: if you put some bacon, lettuce, seasoning and sliced tomatoes on this thing, the One Eyed Jack is best damn hamburger you've ever had.
The usual burger sauce I make is a secret recipe, but I'll give you some pointers: add some relish and vinegar. Ideally you want a thousand island dressing as well. What I did in this video is just the tip of what you can do to make a great burger sauce, and rather than follow my secret recipe you should make your own!
