If you are playing Bullet Echo for a while, you must had seen for sure, that you have been killed by a hero, that has a couple of thousands or even more kills and they was so accurate and so good, that they killed you with no hesitation and getting zero damage. How is that possible? You decide to choose their hero, you play and... You die as first. They must be using cheats for sure!!! Well, the case looks a bit different...
In this game the most important is practise. You can't be perfectly good after playing a couple of hundredths battles (but miracles can happen), and you need a lot of practise, to learn any hero, I mean, learn how to walk, aim, shoot, hit, use ability, miss enemies bullets and not die and win. You won't learn it after a one or two hundredths battles. You will need a lot of them. One thousand, you are getting more experienced and you should now know, if your chose was right and you are using the right hero. You may like the gameplay or not.
You have to take into account two things, kills, wins and fun. Fun is of course important, but I think that this is the less important thing. You may have fun killing your teammates with fire hunter or grenades, because someone don't have ammo and you need every single bullet that you find, because you are playing Firefly or vice versa... Noone cares if you are having fun. Or you saw someone killing two whole teams with a certain hero and you think he is easy to play. This is the worst thing in your life, you are probably a bad person even in real life.
But what about wins? Win precentage tells you, how many battles you have won and what is the probability, that you will win next time. 50%? That's good, I have something about 50%. 70% 90%?! That's great! 20%? 30?... Uh uh. You should probably change something.
For me, the most important are kills - if you have more kills than played battles - it tells, that you are good and in every battle you kill at least on person. It's not easy to do with a couple of heroes, but everything is possible.
What if you have low win precentage, half of your battles are kills and you don't want to play this hero anymore? I want to tell you, that if you have less kills than battles but high win precentage and have a lot of fun, you need to change something, I want you to change something, because as I said more kills than battles is the most important for me and should be for you. What can you change? What can you do better? Start with you gearbuild. Look at others gearbuilds, compare, read about the reasons, why to choose this and not that gear. Anything else? Of course gameplay. You need to try another approach, learn new tactics, maybe find friends with supportive heroes. Try killing enemies from behind, or maybe just don't rush when you see one, think first, turn around, know your surroundings. Remember, you need to play at least one hundredths battles to know if something is good or not.
If nothing helps, I think, that this is time to change a hero. Maybe someone else will be better. You like shotguns? Try gunner. You like machine guns? Try tanks. You like explosions? Try someone from PYRO faction. You can choose any hero, every is good, every is less or more balanced, every is harder or easier, every player looks a bit different at heroes. The choice is yours.
