Tiktok is an application where you get to see short-form videos from the genre like dance, comedy, and various others. Tiktok has a new feature where you're able to text your friends. You need to follow some steps to message on TikTok if you're under 16.
Step 1: First, open the TikTok app and press the button right corner. You'll be able to see your TikTok account. To send a message, you need to be over 16 years old.
Step 2: So, if you're 16 years old then the first and foremost thing you need to do is change your age on the app.
Step 3: To change your age, click on the three-dot button located at the top right corner and log out of your account.
Step 4: After that, You need to tap on me button and sign up. Don't worry you're not creating a new account. You're just updating your age.
Step 5: Tap on sign up and next you need to click on 'Use the phone number or email'.
Step 6: Now you need to fill up your birthday and remember you need to keep it above 16 years.
Step 7: Similarly, once you're done you need to tap on the Next button. After you do that you need to enter your phone number or email next verify it.
Step 8: Enter your password and tap login. Not to forget, you need to keep the same phone number or email that you used in your previous logged-out account.
Step 9: You will be logged in to the account and your date of birth will be updated.
