FULL INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. In Steam, Right Click on Cuphead/Properties/Betas
2. Select Legacy – No Patches from the dropdown list. Wait for Cuphead to update with Legacy version download.
3. Download UnityEX, and open it once downloaded. KEEP it open.
4. Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cuphead\Cuphead_Data
5. Scroll down until you find sharedassets.asset files
6. Drag the sharedassets.asset file that you want into UnityEX
7. Right Click on the very top of the list, then click select All'
8. Right Click AGAIN, and this time click 'Export With Convert' while all are selected
9. Go to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Cuphead\Cuphead_Data Again; you should now see a folder called Unity_Assets_Files. OPEN THIS FOLDER.
10. Open the sharedassets folder that you exported, go to textures, then go to the sharedassets folder inside textures
11. Open Mod Textures Folder. Drag the images over from Mod folder and REPLACE the images in the shared assets folder inside of textures
12. After overwriting the files, go back to unityEX. With everything STILL selected, click 'Import Files' at the top. This will now IMPORT the NEW textures that you have just replaced. Please do not forget to click 'Import Files', as you absolutely NEED to click this in order to put the new textures back into the game.
13. Open Cuphead. The modded textures should now work in the game.
