How to model and 3D print something! - Lets make a parts tray

I thought for a change it would be good to work through the process of modelling an item in 3D Cad, 3D printing it, and then a little post processing.

The end result is insanely heavy duty, I would probably consider drastically thinner side-walls to make a quicker print version. Saying that, you don't really want it wafting off your desk full of surface mount resistors if a gust blows though!

If you think an Autodesk Fusion 360 licence is a little too steep for your budget, check out Tinkercad (https://www.tinkercad.com/)

I do have some bits and pieces on my web store at http://backofficeshow.com
