Hello trainers & welcome back to my channel. Are you tired of using Annihilape to counter every 7* raid in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet? Look no further than Appletun for the 7* Chesnaught raid!

Let's take a look at all available options on how to obtain this beautiful shiny apple Pokémon.

Option 1: Beat an Applin Raid
One way to obtain an Applin is by beating it in a raid, which is fairly easy. However, the chance of encountering a shiny Applin is low.

Option 2: Beat an Appletun Raid
You can also try your luck with a 5* Appletun raid. While it may be a bit more challenging to beat, you won't need to buy the Sweet Apple evolutionary item.

Option 3: Fly to the Fixed Spawn Location
For those who prefer a more methodical approach, you can fly to South Province (Area Three) Watchtower and follow the path to East Province (Area One). Once you arrive, save your game, set up a picnic with a Great Avocado Sandwich, which has the Encounter Power: Dragon Lv. 2, reset your game by manipulating your console's time, and wait for the Applin outbreak. Be sure to use the 60 K. O. method to increase your shiny odds once you go to the outbreak. I managed to catch my 1st shiny Applin at the 33rd encounter while my shiny Skeledirge ate the previous apples. You can also use custom sandwiches like the Dragon Sparkling, Title & Humungo Lv.3 Sandwich, or Encounter Lv.3 Sandwich for better chances of finding a shiny if your Great Avocado Sandwich buffs ended & you haven't encountered a shiny Applin.

Option 4: Check the Marked Trees
Fly to East Province (Area Three) Pokémon Center and make your way through Tagtree Thicket until you reach the entrance to the Navi Squad's Base. Here you will see two marked trees with colorful paintings. Each one can spawn Applins under very specific circumstances. Save your game, do a picnic, and make the custom Dragon Encounter Lv.3 Sandwich. Make sure you have your second legendary Pokémon as your lead and send it out once the Applin shows on the tree. Sometimes there is a delay in the spawns on the tree so you will need to check if your legendary didn't fall asleep or ran off. If this happens just send it back at the tree again. Once the shiny Applin spawns, dash into the tree to shake it off so you can battle & catch it.

Congratulations, you now have your own shiny Applin, which you can evolve into Appletun by using a Sweet Apple.

Vitamins and nature mints can be bought in Chansey Supply in Mesagoza. Tera type can be changed by feeding a meal with 50 tera shards of the respective type, in our case Grass, to your Pokémon in the Treasure Eatery restaurant in Medali.
IVs can be trained by speaking to the NPC behind the Montenevera Pokémon Center. He will ask for a Bottle Cap to train each IV individually, or you can use a Gold Bottle Cap to train all 6 IVs at once.
