The all-new event for Version 3.6 is underway and it's called "Fulminating Sandstorm" featuring the fearsome Wenut living in the arid deserts of Sumeru and this time we have to defeat Deviant variants of them. To do this, we must team up with researchers from the Akademiya to get our hands on the efficient weapon called the Wenutslayer Cannon. The event is comprised of five challenges unlocked gradually within the first five days. For each challenge stage, players must be able to assemble the Charging Devices and the Wenutslayer Cannon components as part of the preliminary preparations. After that, they will have to spend some time and effort in charging the device until it can be fired toward the Wenut.
This event gameplay and walkthrough speedrun guide will show the locations of these components and how to recover them to assemble the Wenutslayer Cannon. This will also show how to successfully defeat the Wenut to earn all the event rewards available. For the first day of the event, the challenge stages are called The Culling of the Worms: Gathering and Testing.
