How to play GBC/GB games on a Gameboy Micro
The Nintendo DS was already out for about a year when Nintendo released the Gameboy Micro, the last Gameboy ever made. While it has the smallest form factor, there are other features that separate it from the other Gameboy models. One of these features if the removal of backwards compatibility. This means Gameboy Micro consoles can only accept Gameboy Advance cartridges; original GB and GBC carts will not work in a GBM.
However, thanks to the magic of flash carts, it is possible to play GB, GBC, NES and other consoles through emulation. Here, I demonstrate using an Everdrive. Using a free tool called "GOOMBA" (Google it) you can load GB/GBC roms into a GBA file, a file type the Gameboy Micro can read. However, this is emulation so except some issues, as I demonstrate in this video.
