[How To] Play Left 4 Dead LAN Online (noSTEAM v1.0.2.8) Tutorial (Tunngle Optional)
765Today's tutorial is using the Left 4 Dead noSTEAM v1.0.2.8 game version. Game works fine without steam. You can use this in real LAN, or a VPN gaming program like Tunngle.
You can also play with custom servers without any issues. I'll show you how to host and join games. Enjoy!
How to Host (using console):
1) sv_lan 1
2) sv_allow_lobby_connect_only 0
3) net_start
4) map whatever
If want to change server name, use "hostname ServerName", where ServerName is your name of the actual server.
