8:13 From Part 3 onwards of my 100% Walktrhough it's fixed
Note: While the purpose of my walkthrough is to review and do a 100% completion of the game and in this VOD I just wanted to showcase the freeze fix, I've decided to include this mini-guide here in case anyone is starting from scratch with the installation of the game.
Complete Step-by-Step Guide:
1 - Sacred 2 only works on version 9.12.1031 of Nvidia Physx engine, this is REQUIRED to play some PC games from 2007-2008 on Windows 10. So the only way to play it is to install this legacy version instead of the default latest.

No, this will not interfere with any of your modern games, their functionality, performance or anything else on your PC. It's actually better for it will allow you to play all games -including- those from this period of time. (Space Siege, Hand of God, Xcom Declassified are also affected by this to name a few)
2 - At this point you should also install Sacred 2's Community Patch to further reduce in-game bugs as much as possible, like quests not being completed, etc. besides those fixed by the original updates by Ascaron (Enhanced Edition Steam):

3 - The graphic options, while at this point the game won't crash on startup, it will freeze on Windows 10 after 30-50 minutes of gameplay due to a severe memory leak issue, the demonstration in this VOD precisely, so I assume it's the core reason why you're here, it's also sadly the most difficult part so have patience:
in order do these steps:
a - in-game graphic options: turn off Nvidia PhysX
b - in-game graphic options: turn on Windowed (game should run windowed for now)
c - Add these lines to a shortcut of the game's main .exe:
-skipopenal -nocpubinding
(Right click main.exe's shortcut, go to properties, then target, there after your .exe's path and its quotes paste them)
This last step is needed unless you want to play windowed, because remember we just needed to turn on "Windowed" in-game to prevent the memory leak freeze.
d - Search and install a program called "Borderless Gaming", open it and let it it run on the background before opening the game, then open sacred 2 so this program can detect it, alt-tab and pay close attention, Sacred 2's name will appear on the left side of BG's list of programs that are running (why we had to open it before), select it and click the fullscreen symbol (the 4 arrows pointing at the edges of the square, this is fullscreen essentially).
Yes, from now on you just need to run Borderless Gaming always before opening Sacred 2, and close it after you finish playing. Nothing else, test the game, if it doesn't freeze after 30-50 minutes of gameplay then chances are it won't crash no matter how long your gameplay session is.
