The all new culinary event Spices From The West is finally here. To unlock this event, you will have to first interact with a lady NPC from Sumeru named Nazafarin who came to Liyue for another reasearch. You can then access the Fragrant Seasonings creation feature where you can mix different ingredients according to what's indicated in the recipe. One new recipe will be unlocked each day up to the 7th day and you need to complete the required ingredients first before you can attempt to make your own fragrant seasonings.
To make the fragrant seasoning required, a lot of timing and patience is involved. You need to follow the sliding needle on your screen and then trigger the laddle button once the needle touches the ingredient icon. This will prompt the ingredient to drop to the container. Proper order should be followed when dropping ingredients or else the attempt will fail. There's a limit to the number of attempts so make sure you don't use them all up and get nothing in the end.
After obtaining the Fragrant Seasoning, you can then use it to create a fragrant dish which you can feed to your teapot characters. Every taste-test will result to an increase in companionship/friendship EXP and trigger special responses.
Rewards will be given out after reaching a certain number of recipe completion and taste-testing invitations. For the first day of the event, the challenge is called "Where Earth And Water Meet".
Event Requirements:
Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above to create seasonings
Reach Adventure Rank 28 or above and complete the quest "Idle Teapot Talk"
