Vigilance at Sea is the second timed challenge of the four themed game modes of the Version 3.4 Lantern Rite "The Exquisite Night Chimes". It is also an obstacle race trial but you will be using your waverider for this one while you collect as many challenge coins as possible within the time limit. The waverider will have a durability or health bar which will decrease if it gets damaged so you need to traverse the waters with caution. Picking up unique objects called "Prop Lamps" will grant your waverider different buffs or abilities to help you clear the game. You can select either single-player or coop mode for this game, and each mode will have different effects when your waverider gets destroyed.
This is a speedrun walkthrough guide on each day's gameplay showing the obstacles in the race and the terrain. For the first day of the event, the challenge can be started at the Alcor by an NPC named Huixing.
