This video will show you a possible solution to the problem of a vehicle ignition key not turning the ignition mechanism to your car or truck; remaining stuck. Before assuming that the ignition mechanism is broken, try your spare key (such as a valet key), if it turns your ignition system as intended and starts your vehicle as intended, the next thing to do is to compare the teeth and blade of your trouble key with the spare key, looking for teeth pattern, alignment, and overall straightness. It is very possible with time and age your key could have become torqued, bent or warped with repetitive turns. If your key is not suitable to actuate the tumblers of your ignition mechanism, in order to fix it, place your key blade on a solid surface (such as concrete) and with a standard hammer, gently hammer out the inaccuracies or faults to make the key blade as straight as possible.
