It has reminded me of an incident that I encountered before the circuit breakers started and received a call from a foreigner number. The person claimed to be a tech support officer from Singtel, she started very nice by introducing her name and asking how my day was.
She followed by telling me about the abnormal error messages that they received and suddenly it became some illegal activities that were ongoing.
She insisted on showing me the "error" messages through my laptop.
Knowing it was a scam, I insisted that I do not have a computer and see how the scam could proceed. She continued to ask if I have a smartphone which I claimed I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and checked with her if it was ok.
She was very curious about my online shopping because if I were to say yes, means she would want my credit card number.
I mentioned ECoupons and I know that the fees to do overseas call are expensive, I delayed her time to drag some time from them targetting another victim.
Finally, she couldn't take it anymore and decided to hang up the call.

Do not give any information that could be useful for them to identify you.
