I have had my 4090 almost from day one. I have probably pulled it out of my computer 50+ times to swap with other cards so I can test them with my 13900K. In that time I have had zero issues. I occasionally check the adapter while gaming for long sessions and I barely feel it getting warm. I have the card installed on a Gigabyte Z790 Master inside a Cooler Master Cosmos C700M.
