hen you capture video clips using the "Share" button on your PS4 controller, the console will automatically save the last few minutes of your gameplay up to the maximum limit of 60 minutes.

To capture a video clip, simply press the "Share" button on your controller while playing a game, and then select "Save Video Clip" from the Share menu. The PS4 will save the specified length of gameplay prior to pressing the Share button.

If you want to record longer gameplay sessions, you might consider using an external capture device or software that allows for longer recording times. There are various third-party capture cards and software available that can extend the recording time beyond the limitations of the built-in PS4 recording feature.
