Go to the PS4 Settings: From the PS4 home screen, scroll up to the top row of icons, where you'll see a "Settings" icon (it looks like a toolbox). Select it.

Open Themes Settings: Within the "Settings" menu, choose "Themes" to access the theme settings.

Check for Customization Options: In the "Themes" settings, see if there is any option related to setting a custom background image. If there is such an option, it will allow you to choose an image from the Capture Gallery or another location on your PS4 to use as a background.

Apply the Custom Background (if available): If there is an option to set a custom background image, follow the on-screen instructions to select the image you want from the Capture Gallery or another folder on your PS4. Apply the changes to set the custom background.
