This is a short video of the making of my DIY Photo/Video Studio.

I am using PVC for the lamp frames and the Flash Stands (painted black). I have made these sectional to easily add or remove pieces to adjust height. Lamps (3) are from local Hardware Store and bulbs are 100w/equivalent color:5000k CFL lights to avoid heat as best possible.

It is a small space to which I will be using a wide angle lens. This should work for portraiture photos and some vids also. I am using (3) continuous light for videos and (3) speed lights for photos. I will use med. sized soft boxes for the lamps and 3 small soft boxes for the strobes.

I am recycling a roller shade I had at home to make it easy to store the background fabric to which I am using white since it is a basic color and will make it easy for me to edit in post. I have another roller shade which I will most likely add later with black background. Background is cloth (cotton fabric) purchased from local Fabric Shop.

These pictures and clips are taken without having tweaked the lights and are just to make sure everything is working correctly.

I have added a test logo to the wall which was just to measure correct size and I will later make a better quality logo and also add sound insulation and paint the room white as well.

For now things seem to be working pretty good. If you have any questions about this project P.M. me or leave a comment.

Thank you for watching
