How To Remove Microsoft COPILOT From Microsoft 365 Apps Word Excel Powerpoint etc
Are you frustrated or maybe even concerned what DATA Microsoft are pulling from your PC via the Microsoft Copilot integration into the Microsoft 365 apps like Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
Well fortunately there is a way around it, and you can disable the services running, and also disable and remove the Copilot Icons on the ribbon bar.
So to recap we are going to
Remove Copilot from Microsoft Office 365 apps
Remove copilot from Word
Remove copilit from Excel
Remove copilot from Powerpoint
Remove copilot from Outlook.
Open one of the Microsoft 365 applications.
Open a new blank document
Go to file, then at the bottom options.
next choose trust center, then trust center settings
Next go into privacy options
then privacy settings
then uncheck or deselect the connected services as required.
It might require a reboot of the PC or just the app you are in.
To remove the copilot icon on the ribbon bar, right click under the copilot icon and choose customise the ribbon, choose the copilot tab on the left and then remove the tick next to enable copilot.
