This is a short tutorial (removal guide) about how to remove and get rid of the qone8 redirect malware from your computer and browser and restore your homepage URL back to Google.

Why You Should Remove Start.Qone8.com?

Qone8 is a browser hijacker which is designed to promote their search engines, homepage, or other services as well as display ads.

How to remove Start.qone8.com from IE:

Reset Internet Explorer,

Press Alt+T and click Internet options.
Open Advanced tab and click Reset.
Select Delete personal settings and press Reset.
Click Close when reset is complete.

Reset Mozilla Firefox:

Press Firefox button and navigate to Help.
Click Troubleshooting information and click Reset Firefox on a new tab.
Press Reset Firefox on a pop-up dialog box.
Press Finish when reset is complete.


Change / reset Google Chrome Settings:

Press Alt+F and click Settings.
Mark Open a specific page or set of pages and click Set pages.
Remove Start.qone8.com, enter a new home page address and click OK.
Select Manage search engines under Search.
Set a new default search engine, delete Start.qone8.com and press Done.
