The Home Alone Alliance, a collaborative from AARP, created the “How-To” videos and resource guides for family caregivers on specific medical/nursing tasks – including preparing special diets, managing incontinence, wound care, mobility, and managing medications. The videos and resource guides, many of which are available in both English and Spanish, are free of charge.
Funded by the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, this video series on Special Diets seeks to provide family caregivers preparing special diets with simple, concrete instruction on a variety of topics. It was developed by Alliance members—the AARP Public Policy Institute and the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC, Davis.
