0In today's video, I'm going to show you how to reset your password for the atomic wallet.
Atomic Wallet is an application used to store Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, and other cryptocurrencies. Atomic Wallet also allows you to buy cryptocurrencies with a credit card or debit card.
While logging into your atomic wallet you'll need to enter your password but in case you've forgotten your password and don't know what to do next then just follow this short tutorial and you will be fine!
let's get started:
1. Click on your downloaded atomic wallet app from a desktop, it will directly ask you to enter your password
2. Click on the Restore from Backup link right beneath the Open Wallet button
3. Click on the Continue button and on the next page Enter your 12 words backup phrases that you've backed up beforehand, type them one by one
4. Click on Restore. Now, type in the new password for your account that you'd like to reset (make sure to enter the password that will be much easier for you to remember)
5. When you log in to your account next time you can double-check your password by clicking on the little eye icon at the right corner
6. Repeat the password one more time in the next text field (make sure both of the passwords in the text boxes matches)
7. Finally, click on Set Password (wait for a few seconds and you'll be logged back into your account even if you've forgotten your password)
