This can be a confusing tedious process for beginners and I really struggled with it when I first started using Reason so I wanted to go over how to properly route the channels so you can insert effects and EQ the separate drum elements all while still using 1 Kong pattern for your entire drums in the sequencer.
I will also go over how to setup your kick channel so you can easily add sidechain compression to any of your other machines in Reason. I also will go over how to create a drum bus to route everything else back into 1 channel and then create a parallel channel for New York Compression. At the end I will show you how to save it all as a template so you don't have to keep repeating the process!
